Ella
Ella is a cute small town that is popular with tourist for the trainride, but also visits to the Nine Arches bridge and Little Adams Peak.
The hike down to Nine Arches Bridge takes apx 20 minutes and there are guards by the tunnel to let people know when the train is coming. There are two ways to reach the bridge. Ask a tuktuk driver to take you to the highest entrance, by the Tea factory, as the view walking down to the bridge is really beautiful.
The hike to Little Adams Peak is an easy hike and the view at the top is really worth it.
Ella rock is a longer hike and is supposed to be really nice.
Lodging
We stayed at The View Ella and it was really nice with a pool and a beautiful view. The familyroom had 2 large beds. Walking distance to town.
We also recommend the The Blue View Ella which is a really nice familyrun place. Walking distance to the trainstation and to town.
Eating
We fell in love with Cafe Chill and had all our meals there. Super nice staff, laidback backpacker vibe and good food.
