Buono - food for life
Make sure you stop by Buono for a great cup of coffee, smoothies and avocado sandwiches, where parts of the profit goes to Child action lanka. This is were I volounteered while in Kandy and the organization does amazing things for street children. All over the island Child Action Lanka has centers where street children can come for education, food, and a safe and loving environment which aims to break to cycle of poverty.

Empire cafe
Across from the Tooth temple you find the The Empire cafe. It serves good food and smoothies for the touristy taste. They also sell the nice oldfashioned postcards and posters from Sri Lanka.

Gelateria
At the top floor at the shoppingcenter you will find Gelateria. They serve the best avocado and pineapple with pepper icecream.

World Spice
The foodcourt at the top of the KCC serves food from different countries in a quick and easy manner. Ideal for families and a quick meal.

Royal bar and hotel
The Royal bar and hotel is a nice place to stop by for a cup of tea and enjoy the historical feeling.
