Nuwara Eliya with train from Kandy

The trainride from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya (and on to Ella) is a beautiful trainride that takes you through amazing shades a green teafields with teapickers and waterfalls.

Tickets can be bought at the Kandy trainstation or through travelagents. Please note that some travel agents charge between $20-30 for tickets, when the price at the ticket counter is apx Rp 1000. 2nd class with reserved seats is definetly recommend as you can open the windows.
