Colombo
Colombo is a big city and with so much to see in this country I would recommend to not spend too much time here. It is a good place to either start and end your vacation.
Lodging
Galle face hotel is the ultimate old colonial setting with a great location. Do not miss the flag seremony at sunset! Check out all the historical pictures around the hotel.
Havelock bungalow is one of our favorite places to stay in Colombo. It is centrally located, but in a quiet area. It has a small pool, a few rooms and a great restaurant.
If you need a haircut, we recommend Capello Salons right across the street.
The Fern Cove villa is a small and cozy bnb in Battaramula with a pool.
The black cat is supposed to be a cool bnb.
