Mirissa and Secret beach

Mirissa is another beautiful stretch of beach with a lot of action on the beach both day and night.

Secret beach

We ended up spending two days at Secret beach (or "the-not-so-secret beach" according to our kids). You have to ask a tuktuk to take you, and then you walk down the last hill.
Then you arrive at a small quiet beach with one restaurant, where they served up great food and drinks to reggae tunes. It is a great place to snorkel, so either bring your own gear or rent at the restaurant.

Lodging

We stayed at Central beach which has a laidback backpacker vibe and is run by a really nice guy called Jewan.

Our friends spent a night at Lemazone Inn and really enjoyed the service and the familyrun place.

Eating

Check out  Shady lane for smoothies and avocado sandwiches. They also rent out two rooms.

Zephyr  is a great place right on the beach.
Or buy Roti at No 1 Roti shop

Ayurvedic spa
Check out Secret root spa for great ayurvedic massages.
