Talpe

Talpe is plain and simple beautiful. It is very close to Unawatuna, but I would stay away from the very touristy (and somewhat poluted) beach of Unawatuna.

It is not possible to swim in the ocean on all the beaches, but the Dalawalle beach is very nice. Right in front of Wijaya beach there is a beautiful lagune where turtles swim free.

At Wijaya beach.com you can stay in the guestrooms or go for the best woodfire pizza, or both.

Few minutes down the road is the amazing boutique villas Apa Villa.

If you are a big group check out the villas for rent on airbnb. One of them is Talpe house.
It has a truly amazing staff and it is even better in real life than in the pictures.

Yoga

Do not miss the chance to attend a yoga class at Sri yoga shala. Just the tuktuk ride through ricefields is beautiful in it self, and when you arrive your pulse will slow down and you can take different yogaclasses accompanied by the jungle sounds of birds and monkeys.
